You're absolutely right. Sarcasm and tongue in cheek does not go over well virtually. I have experienced the backlash from thinking a ;-) or a lol would transmit tone. It doesn't. I was simply pointing out some inconsistencies and hyperbole in someone's post and asking them to check facts and tone it down. Not on a "witch hunt" just trying to bring some sanity to the board. I've realized it is not possible to do so when you have a reality show cast of characters lol

And I didn't think your idea of including the IMO etc.. was bad, i was just fooling around..

Yeah it is one of the problems with written comments as opposed to verbal, you can't hear a persons sarcasm or joking when you write sometimes. Have this problem with texting all the time. lol
